The Citylight Family VISION is to multiply the Citylight Family movement into ten strategic cities across the Midwest and beyond. We believe that new Gospel movements in these ten hub cities will serve as catalysts for the multiplication of hundreds of new churches and tens of thousands of new disciples over the coming years! …Make amazing connections and strengthened relations with Wichita pastors, ministry partners and ministry leaders. All of these churches, organizations and men want to see gospel saturation in Wichita and on the college campus. There is a desire to support and not simply compete.
…In one faithful couple who traveled to Wichita to gather, learn and discern where God is calling them to serve. Thank you Caleb and Taryn from Citylight Kearney.
…Give understanding of the city, the state of the local church, the past spiritual influences on the city, the needs at Wichita State University, and the geography that shapes how people live.
Lastly, we saw the need for more to know Jesus and the need for more churches in Wichita. Wichita is a growing city of over 600,000 and more churches are dying and closing than are planting with other religious group growing in their place. One pastor said most existing churches are only thinking about their survival or incremental growth, and not multiplication. There is momentum and it’s only increasing.
