GOD is writing an amazing story…

In 2012, a few people gathered in a living room and asked God to write a new story. They began to imagine a church that would not just gather on Sunday mornings, but would scatter as the Church throughout the week. A church that would exist to multiply disciples and churches to carry the good news of the Gospel to every neighborhood and network of their city.

God did immeasurably more than those men and women on their knees in a living room could have ever asked or imagined, and the Citylight movement was born.

God’s not just gathering a crowd – He’s building His church. In less than ten years, over a thousand people across the Citylight Family have publicly declared their faith in Jesus through Baptism! Real lives have been changed, families and marriages restored, and communities transformed by the good news of the Gospel.

Now, once again, we’re asking God to go before us to
write the next chapter in this amazing story…

The Vision

Imagine a family of churches, working together for the Glory of God, spreading the good news of the Gospel throughout our region, the nation, and to the ends of the earth.

Together, we’re asking God to multiply the Citylight Family movement into ten strategic cities across the Midwest. We believe that new Gospel movements in these ten hub cities will serve as catalysts for the multiplication of hundreds of new churches and tens of thousands of new disciples over the coming years!
