Church plant residency within the Citylight Family isn’t unique. Over the past ten years, men have been invited to join churches within our Family to learn and experience what a healthy staff is and isn’t, how to shepherd and lead people, how to care for people but then also how to multiply the process by looking for the next leaders. A typical planter residency is two years before a core team is launched.
College Ministry in the Family | PC3
Throughout the Citylight Family, you will find college teams thriving and serving their local college campus. One ministry that is doing this well is PC3. PC3 is part of Providence Church Omaha and meets Tuesday nights each week.

Student Ministry as a Family
Last April, Student Ministries from churches across the Citylight Family came together for the first Student Retreat held at Camp Rivercrest outside of Omaha. Students, leaders and volunteers from seven churches (Fort Collins, Bennington, South Lincoln, Council Bluffs, West Council Bluffs, Omaha Midtown, Omaha West) gathered for worship, large group sessions, small group discipleship with fun activities and games. As a Family we celebrate God and His faithfulness and new mercy as He continues to draw His people to Him and to His Body.
Multiplying Church Buildings
As God multiplies His church and in our Family, one thing that we need to be mindful of is to have facilities that help facilitate long-term ministry. When a church has an opportunity to acquire a property, it creates a long-term home base to do Gospel ministry.
Moving Toward the Wounded – Providence Church
When Providence Church was planted in 2017, God was calling them to a location and to a group of women that was unexpected and a Kingdom blessing to all.
